1 . SENIOR GEOLOGIST

Kualifikasi :

• Minimum Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geological Engineering (Indonesia); a Master’s Degree is preferred and demonstrates the ability to complete large and complex projects.
• Certified of Competency for Middle Operational Supervisor of OHS and Mine Environment from MEMR.
• Advanced geological technical skills are required at this level.
• The incumbent is expected to make competent technical decision, implement programs and prioritize work on an assigned project with little or no guidance.
• Supervisory skills are well developed and demonstrated through assignment of one or lower level geologists and geotechnical assistants to the projects.
• Experience in supervising technical professionals and non-technical staff.
• Seven to nine plus years of practical exploration experience with some porphyry style deposit exploration experience.
• Knowledge of computer and mining geology and resource modelling software is required.
• Experience with project’s logistics, helicopter operation and project socialization to stakeholders.

Job Description

• Identify geological features related to the project and understand their relevance to geological resources and geological mapping and minerals delineation.
• Thorough and timely geological definition of the prospect area or project through.
• Understand detailed and regional deposit geology and use these base and strong conceptual skills to guide geological exploration, deposits development and mine production programs.
• Discover and/or cost effectively evaluate copper/gold resources and reserves.
• Meet demanding corporate goals of increased production, resources and reserves.
• Independent individual project technical supervision & budget responsibility.
• Prepare one or multiple development projects for production through organization and scheduling the completion of drilling, geological modelling, metallurgy, and geotechnical programs.
• Supervise and monitor geological works such as mapping, core logging, sampling and metallurgical testing and geological interpretation.
• Communicate programs’ progresses and results to colleagues and management.
• Organize and prepare project status, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Assist in individual or multiple project budget preparation.
• Maintain high technical standards and at the same time have the ability to complete assigned tasks in timely manner.
• Prepare frequent, technical reports and deliver formal, technical presentations.
• Use computer system for data management, geological interpretation, geologic and resource modelling and estimation, ore control and model reconciliation.
• Provide data, final reports and computer models.
• Train and guide project’s associated staff and non-staff.
• Set individual project priorities.
• Adhere to PTAMNT corporate mine and exploration geology standards.
• May be required to travel, and assist other domestic and international sites.

2 . GEOLOGIST RESOUCE

Kualifikasi :

• Minimum S1 (B.S.) in Geology or Geological Engineering with additional training and/or computer experience or S1 (B.S.) in Computer Science with strong geological background.
• At least three years’ experience in mineral resource estimation methodology.
• One to five plus years of practical mining geology and/or exploration experience.
• Good knowledge of data management, especially JORC standards.
• Entry-level geological technical skills.
• Familiarity with assaying, ore control and resource modeling.
• ncumbent is expected to make prudent technical decisions most of the time and prioritize work on the assigned project without high level supervision and guidance.

Job Description

• Assist in supervising drilling program, geology logging, and maintain drill and geochemical data collected during exploration and within the mine in a systematic format.
• Must be proficient in 3D modelling software, preferably Minesight.
• Oversee drafting computer supports and its peripheral.
• Proficient in ArcGIS, ArcSDE, SQL Server, AcQuire, Compass CE Administrator, Micromine, MapInfo, AutoCAD, Corel Draw, Ms. Office in Advance Level (Access, PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
• Responsible for management of GIS Data Center operation.
• Generate hardcopy maps and plots from ArcGIS, MapInfo, AutoCAD and other CAD softwares.
• Perform cataloguing of spatial data, digital reports & digital presentations.
• Assist with geological and block model completion, this includes creating and formatting files, as well as transferring files between various modelling programs.
• Understand geological framework in sufficient details in order to conduct lithology, structure, alteration and ore minerals modelling related to the project.
• Provide routine computer support and troubleshooting.
• Oversee all graphics and presentation files.
• Maintain integrity of Exploration Department S:\ (Shared) drive.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, following pre-assigned project priorities.
• Complete frequent progress reports, assist with monthly and year-end summaries and deliver informal presentations; activities may include compilation of drilling statistics, maps and graphs drafting.
• Supervise and train or arrange training on geological data for technicians for database management and GIS functions.
• Adhere to mine and exploration geology and corporate computing standards.
• May be required to travel to, and assist other domestic and international sites.
